Prisoners' Justice Day (JPP) is being observed across Canada on August 10th, including on Algonquin Territory / in Ottawa. Five days from this important day of memorialization and resistance, the Journal of Prisoners on Prisons has made articles published in 1991 by Robert Bryden (click to download) and Bob Gaucher (click to download) about PJD available for free.
If you are in the area, please join us at the Jack Purcell Community Centre from 2:00pm to 4:00pm for an afternoon of solidarity, followed by a march beginning at 4:00pm with stops at the office of Ontario Minister of Corrections Yasir Naqvi, Correctional Service of Canada National Headquarters and the Human Rights Monument.
